Eclipse (partial) at the Austerfield Study Centre August 2026
On the 12th August 2026, DAS opened up its doors to host a gathering of people to view the partial eclipse of the Sun (around 95%). People arrived in their droves to this free event (donations welcome) where the final toll was around 1500 to 2000 people and for a short couple of hours this peaceful hamlet was witness to cars being parked and visitors chattering excitedly about the forthcoming event. Needless to say it both surprised and delighted the DAS team! This page is dedicated to that evening with a few photographs as an aide memoir.
