Community Outreach Programme

Our outreach programme takes you on a journey from our Solar System to the Milky Way and far beyond. Through an interactive and engaging presentation, you’ll not only explore planets and galaxies but also uncover the myths and legends of the constellations, along with practical tips for your own stargazing.
Afterwards, step outside for a guided “sky safari,” where we’ll bring the night sky to life. And, if the weather is clear, you’ll have the chance to look deeper into space with our research-grade telescopes at the Austerfield Field Study Centre — observing the Moon, planets, sparkling star clusters, or even distant galaxies, depending on the season.
